When Dyan was a little girl, she worked in her Mother's restaurant “Simon’s Deli”, a local restaurant that was popular and known for great food and friendly faces. Dyan fell in love with people pleasing and “the small stuff” at an early age, and was a part of her family's business in one capacity or another for over 25 years.
Dyan became the Director of Special Events & Catering at a private Country Club in South Texas. In this atmosphere, her love for details, weddings and event planning all began.
Over the years she has been involved with planning and executing everything from non-profit concerts in arenas, elaborate dinners for corporate sponsors to picking out the brown M&M’s from the backstage dressing room of a particularly particular famous singer.
Dyan spent many years in broadcast television sales management, creating commercials as well as branding and executing small businesses dreams. Along the way her passion for cooking evolved into her “Scratch Kitchn" catering, and her dream has come full circle back to the complete experience of planning your special occasion big or small. No detail is ever left incomplete.
Working with a seasoned professional throughout the event planning process from concept to coordination ensures that your event is a smashing success.
